ScaleTrader.net is offering a used Cardinal 10060 PRC-H-12 low-profile truck scale near Atlantic City, New Jersey. The scale appears to be in good shape, but its operating condition is not confirmed. It is disassembled, stacked and stored, ready to be loaded. It was acquired for a recycling yard project but was never installed for that project.
The 60 ft × 12 ft steel checker-plate platform has three sections, a listed capacity of 200,000 lb (100 tons), and a 72,000 lb concentrated load capacity (CLC). Guide rails are included, along with the scale sections and stored components shown in the photos. The listing identifies PRC-H as a pitless scale design. The scale has a painted finish.
The scale indicator and printer are not included. The seller believes sensors, associated wiring, and indicator electronics may need replacement. Some small steel pieces may also need replacement, although the seller believes all components are present. A scale company has inspected the scale. A local scale company previously quoted installation and indicated replacement parts should be available.
This is an older scale, with a blueprint dated March 1, 1984; that drawing date is not a confirmed manufacture date. Blueprints and a serial tag are available. An on-site crane can load the scale onto the buyer’s trailer.
